Municipal Art Gallery of Xanthi

The Municipal Art Gallery of Xanthi is named after Christo Pavlidi a named local painter who him and his heirs donated many of his works to the gallery. The building of the Gallery is one of the oldest buildings in Xanthi and is perfect sample of the Epeirous and West - Macedonia architecture in meddle of 19th century. The mansion belonged to the family of Vasileou Kalevra and is a typical twin symmetrical residence that is found is north Greece.
