Municipal Art Gallery

Founded as an offshoot of the Municipal Library, the gallery is housed in the Villa Mordoch, which was designed by the architect Xenophon Paionidis. It has more than 1.000 works in its collection. The gallery organizes regular exhibitions of Greek artists, has a library-reading room and produces numerous publications.

You can book in advance a guided tour. The aims of the gallery are to work with mire institutions in Greece and abroad and also to convert the second and third floor into permanent exhibition spaces for Thessalonikean artists.
