Ataturk Museum

The founder of modern Turkey, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, was actually born in Thessaloniki in a house on Apostolou Pavlou St.

This house has been turned into a historical museum. The Ataturk museum is owned by the Turkish state. The building is very old and has three floors and a courtyard. All over the house's walls there are photos of Kemal and most of the furniture is authentic. The most impressive room is on the 2nd floor in which Kemal was born.
