The building after been restored and renovated is now in a very good condition functioning as an archaeological museum. Inside the museum are archaeological exhibits from all periods from the wide Serres area. There are prehistoric exhibits that have been excavated at Kryoneri, Promaxona, Terpni, Gazoros, Neos Skopos and Serres.
