Detailed description of the Caring for the Destination Initiative: 


The whole philosophy of this tour is to get the traveller close to the way of living of the locals. Starting with accommodation, the guesthouse is a renovated old stone house, featuring the local architecture of the first year of the 20th century. At that time, houses were also warehouses and working places.

You will have the chance to learn about local people's professions and traditions by participating in everyday life activities like preparing bread in a wood oven, collecting fruits and preparation of marmalade and suites, or preparation of characteristic local dishes.
Furthermore, if there are any activities or festivals in the village or nearby,  you will be invited to attend and participate.

Although the natural enviroment in the areas of this tour is superb, there are not yet many visitors. The locals wish and try to develop sustainable tourism practices, like small accommodation units, support of  traditional products and local traditions and we try to help them achieve their goal.
