Viglatoras Guesthouse is one of the best hotels located in Ano Poroia, a small, quiet village on the slopes of Mount Kerkini (Belles). Τα Άνω Πορόια βρίσκονται στους πρόποδες του όρους Μπέλες (ή Κερκίνη).
Από την Θεσσαλονίκη, ακολουθήστε την Εθνική Οδό προς Κιλκίς και έπειτα προς Δοϊράνη και Προμαχώνα.
20 περίπου χιλιόμετρα μετά την Δοϊράνη, θα συναντήσετε την διασταύρωση για Κάτω και Άνω Πορόια.
Από Σέρρες, ακολουθήστε τον δρόμο προς Σιδηρόκαστρο και Κιλκίς. Η διασταύρωση για το χωριό βρίσκεται 62 χλμ από τις Σέρρες ή 32 περίπου χιλιόμετρα από την διασταύρωση για Προμαχώνα, λίγο μετά το χωριό Λιβαδιά.

Ο ξενώνας "Βιγλάτωρας" βρίσκεται στο κέντρο του χωριού, ένα στενό πιο χαμηλά και παράλληλα με την πλατεία.

Ano Poroia is located on the slopes of Mt. Mpeles (or Kerkini).

From Thessaloniki:
Follow the National Road to Kilkis and then to Doirani / F.Y.R.O.M. and Promahonas / Bulgaria. 20 km after Doirani, you will see the road signs to Kato and Ano Poroia.

From Serres:
Follow the National Road to Promahonas / Bulgaria for about 30 km and then continue on the National Road to Kilkis for about 30 more km. You will see the road signs to Ano Poroia after the village Livadia.

Guesthouse Viglatoras is located in the centre of the village, one road below the central square.

Getting to Ano Poroia by bus is possible but not recommended.

Wherever you are coming from, you must first arrive at Serres to take the local bus to Ano Poroia.

Getting to Ano Poroia by train is also possible. The nearest station is Rodopoli, just 7 km away, but you have to check if the train you wish to use stops there and you then have to take a taxi to Ano Poroia.
