The Varosi 4 Seasons hotel is located in the Varosi neighborhood in the eastern part of the city of Edessa, on top of a steep hill. The whole area is a recognized as a historic preservation area since 1992 for its efforts in preserving local architecture. Edessa is located 85 kilometers west of Thessaloniki.

Getting to Edessa:
You can drive, take the bus, or take a train to Edessa.
By car:
There are two routes you can follow to get from Thessaloniki to Edessa-
Route 1: Via Veroia and Naousa - Follow the National Road towards Athens until the exit towards Veroia / Ioannina. Continue on Egnatia Odos and exit at Veroia (you can visit the royal tombs of Phillip II in Vergina with a small detour). From Veroia continue towards Naousa and then Edessa.
Route 2:Via Pella - From Thessaloniki follow Monastiriou street west or if you use the ring road exit towards Promahonas / Edessa. This road will take you to Edessa, but you can stop at the archaeological site of Pella, capital of Phillip II.
By train:
There are 12-14 trains leaving Thessaloniki train station on Monastiriou street to Edessa. Travelling time is about 1 and a half hours.
By bus:
There are regular services many times a day from Macedonia Bus Terminal in Thessaloniki.

From the moment you arrive in Edessa, you will find road signs towards the traditional neighborhood of Varosi and the guesthouse.
