Από την Θεσσαλονίκη μπορείτε να ακολουθήσετε δύο διαφορετικές διαδρομές για το χωριό Κερκίνη.
Και οι δύο έχουν κοινό το πρώτο κομάτι, καθώς φεύγετε από Θεσσαλονίκη προς Σέρρες / Βουλγαρία μέχρι την διαστάυρωση για Κιλκίς.
Αν συνεχίσετε προς Σέρρες, μετά από περίπου 50χλμ (60 από την Θεσσαλονίκη) στρίβετε αριστερά προς Λιθότοπο, και από εκέι συνεχίζετε τον παραλίμνιο δρόμο μέχρι την Κερκίνη.
Αν επιλέξετε την διαδρομή από Κιλκίς, ακολουθήστε το δρόμο προς Κιλκίς, επειτα προς Δοιράνη και μετά προς Βουλγαρία. Στα 80 περίπου χιλιόμετερα, στρίβετε δεξιά στο χωρίο Λιβαδια και αφού το διασχίσετε σε 3χλμ φτάνετε στην Κερκίνη.

From Thessaloniki there are two routes to get to Kerkini. For both of them, follow the road to Serres / Bulgaria until the road splits for Serres and Kilkis. If you continue towards Serres, after about 50km turn left towards Lithotopos / Lake Kerkini and enjoy the beautiful scenery as you drive slowly (lots of turns) next to the lake.

If you continue towards Kilkis, you will pass the exit to Kilkis, Lake Doirani, and exit to Rodopoli and in the village of Livadia you will turn right then you will enter Kerkini after 7km.
