Naousa traditional products

Duration: 2 hour(s) - Location: Naousa, Imathia

The workshop you will visit has its own farm that provides the majority of the ingredients. The rest of them come from local producers in the area of Naousa, Imathia.

Old recipes collected by Thodoris (the owner) are used, and local women help him with the production, aiming to offer tastes as close as possible to the authentic home-made ones.

Itinerary

Thodoris will welcome you to his workshop with a traditional "κέρασμα" (kérasma / treat), home made tsipouro or liqueur.

He will then take you to the kitchen, were you can see  how they prepare their delicious products with the old, traditional techniques

Then you will be taken to the tasting hall (or the garden if the weather is good), and you will have the chance to taste a selection of the workshop's products that includes "ορεκτικά" (appetizers), "γλυκο του κουταλιού" (fruit sweet), marmelade, "τουρσί" (pickled vegetables) and local wine or tsipouro.

Before you leave, you can select your gift: A hand-made wooden box, including either two 50ml bottles of liquer and tsipouro or two 50ml bottles of virgin oil olive with rosemary and vinegar with herbs.
