Detailed description of the Caring for the Destination Initiative: 

Costas and Petroula had a dream: To bring back to life Costa's old family house which is located at Agios Germanos village. At this time Agios Germanos was rather isolated and had no hotels or guesthouses. Costas and Petroula with respect to the environment and local traditional architecture put all their effort to create a lovely guesthouse keeping at the same time all the characteristics of the old stone house.

Now, Agios Germanos Hotel (guesthouse) consists of 3 renovated houses and plans for the future include the reconstruction and addition of another 2 houses.
Furthermore, because of Costa and Petroula, many locals were inspired to stay in the village and revive their old stone houses to beautiful and warm guesthouses.
Of course, all local products are promoted and served in the hotel restaurant.
Also, Costas works closely with the "Society for the protection of Prespa" in the area of protection of the environment and education of the visitors.
